Meeting notes 03.03.2009

Little bit better meeting turnout this week - hope lots come to the workshop on Sunday! The weather is shaping to be gorgeous.

on to the minutes:

Holy City Bike Coop Meeting Minutes 3.3.2009

Stephen brought a draft of a waiver for workshops/bike sales/etc:

The waiver was drafted by a lawyer and has all the usual boilerplate, so we’re in good shape on that front. Needs to be proofread again, with a line added for guardian signature when bicycle/service is performed for a minor. Should be ready by this weekend’s workshop.

ugly weather and meeting reminder...

well, due to the filthy weather we're having today (March 1), today's workshop has been called off. rain date is next Sunday, March 8.

regular meeting is Tuesday, 19.30, at the public library on Calhoun St. though it's spring break for CofC, i hope we'll have better attendance than last time.

Meeting notes 03.02.2009

sorry about the lateness (again). had too many tests last week, so classwork kind of stomped on my productivity a little bit.

so, here's my notes:

Coop meeting 03.02.2009

Workshop report:

3 bikes donated, two fixed, all three given away same day to homeless who had no transport.
Interest was expressed by recipients in helping out.
One other bike repaired.
Need a tech session on disc brakes.
There’s been a drop in attendance, lack of walk-in traffic.
Why? – weather, lack of physical location?
